The Art of Preserved Floristry

(4 sessions x 3 hours)

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:

Identify types of preserved plant materials and floral tools.
Acquire skills to reflex preserved roses.
Perform wiring techniques.
Bind preserved plant materials.
Create various preserved flower arrangements.

A digital certificate will be issued upon successful course completion, which requires a minimum attendance rate of 75%.

Our Trainers

Felisse Lim

Felisse’s career spanned two decades in finance and administration. Her strengths include her ability to multitask effectively and possessing strong interpersonal skills.

Felisse firmly believes in lifelong learning. As part of her mid-career transition, she enrolled in various SkillsFuture courses, including food hygiene audit, culinary, and floristry. Since then, she has developed a newfound passion for floristry.

Over the last few years, she honed her skills by working freelance for retail and non-retail florists. Her motivation stems from creating her numerous handcrafted floral arrangements.

With 3 years of experience coaching both WSQ and non-WSQ courses, Felisse’s biggest delight has been seeing many of her learners thrive in beautiful flower arrangements under her guidance. She inspires her learners with her personal motto: “If you can dream it, you can do it!”
