Leather Crafting

(4 sessions X 3 hours)

Learn fundamental leather crafting skills to customise your everyday objects. In this class, you will gain knowledge of the various types of leather available in the industry. A range of leatherworking techniques, tools and materials will be taught to apply to your designed leatherwork. This course is designed for those who want to explore their creativity in leather crafting as a hobby or start a small craft business. Learners will be able to take home their finished product(s).

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this module, learners will be able to:

Brainstorm creative ideas for your design
Understand leather and pattern making
Create and transfer design to a physical object
Apply basic leather crafting techniques to craft the design
Assemble products using various methods

A digital certificate will be issued upon successful course completion, which requires a minimum attendance rate of 75%.

Please note that no replacement classes are offered for missed lessons.

Our Trainers

Veron Lien

Veron Lien graduated with a Masters degree in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. Having worked and lived in England and Germany for 11 years, the creative founder has an extensive corporate background through her work for publishing houses, design agencies, and private commissions.

Armed with a deep love and appreciation for the beauty of handmade goods, she launched her first design label ONE+ONE in 2014, offering handcrafted leather goods and accessories in Singapore. ONE+ONE has gained recognition over the years and has been featured widely on Channel 8, Lianhe Zaobao, Travelshopa, The Honeycombers, Culturepush and Singapore Fashion Runway.
