Certificate in Watercolour Painting (Intermediate)
This course is for learners intending to advance their skills in watercolour painting. Learners wanting to build a portfolio will benefit from this course. Lessons are carefully structured, with progressive learning outcomes. In the first module, learners will improve their foundation skills by revisiting basic concepts of watercolour painting. The second module will provide a more in-depth understanding of watercolour techniques as learners work on landscape painting.
Course Prerequisite
For learners who have successfully completed Certificate in Watercolour Painting (Basic).

Module 1 - Watercolour Painting I
(8 sessions x 3 hours)
This module includes a review of the fundamentals through exploring line, tone, colour and mass, strengthening learners’ observation and composition skills. Learners will complete two paintings in watercolour, including a short assignment in drawing, which is relevant to watercolour painting.

Module 2 - Watercolour Painting II
(8 sessions x 3 hours)
In this module, learners will practise and apply watercolour techniques for landscape painting. Learners will be encouraged to explore different techniques and styles of painting and composition. This module aims to broaden the learners’ ability to express themselves through watercolour, while improving their observation skills.
