Certificate in Watercolour Painting (Advanced)
This course equips learners with advanced knowledge and skills in watercolour painting. Learners will study techniques and methods in watercolour while developing their style of painting. This course focuses on still life and landscape painting for the application of skills acquired in different genres. This course is recommended for learners who have successfully completed Certificate in Watercolour Painting (Intermediate).
Course Prerequisite
For learners who have successfully completed Certificate in Watercolour Painting (Intermediate).

Module 1 - Watercolour (Observation and Interpretation)
(8 sessions x 3 hours)
This module aims to enhance learners’ ability to observe and paint from still life or landscapes. In addition to gathering reference materials and transforming photos into paintings, learners will be taught various techniques and methods, such as washes, dry brush and lifting, to create a vibrant and unique interpretation of a picture.

Module 2 - Watercolour (Imagination and Interpretation)

This module aims to enhance learners’ ability to identify and analyse the characteristics of watercolour painting. This module emphasises the importance of studying elements in watercolour and the insertion of other mediums to bring out the subject and atmosphere of paintings. Through analysing the elements and studying intention and interpretation, learners will successfully create works that deliver strong qualities.
