Sarah is one of the co-founders of Sarah and Schooling.

Founded in 2013, Sarah and Schooling is the eponymous design practice of Sarah Tang and Alison Schooling. As an ardent supporter of Singapore’s literary scene, we are actively involved in designing books and publications across multiple genres. Notable examples of the studio's work include historically significant titles such as The Collected Poems of Arthur Yap (NUS Press) and Gopal Barathams' series of books including A Candle Or The Sun, Sayang, The Collected Short Stories and Moonrise, Sunset (Marshall Cavendish).

Whether it’s a book, brand or space, we believe in the power of storytelling and seek to develop visual narratives with meaningful communication. We also teach, curate and consult. For us, design is a collaboration. We are an intentionally small team that listens and collaborates closely with our clients to create intriguing, emotion-driven work that functions for our client’s goals and resonates with their audience.

Fiona Koh Wen Chii

Fiona Koh is an artist-designer and art educator—her multi-disciplinary background attempts to integrate art and design as a common field of inquiry. Having previously had the experience as a designer and an executive producer at design and digital imaging studios, she now manages Poppy Studio, an independent design company.

Fiona is also a co-founder and member of the art collective, Vertical Submarine. The collective has exhibited extensively locally and in other countries such as Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Mexico and Spain. They have also been awarded the Celeste Art Prize (Installation) in 2011 and the President’s Young Talents Award in 2009.

She is currently the chairperson of the Community Arts and Culture Committee for Nanyang Community Club which aims to promote the arts within communities.
