Caricature Creation for Families and Furry Friends

(3 sessions x 3 hours)

Caricature drawing is a fun and expressive art form that exaggerates features while capturing the essence of a person or pet. This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to guide you in acquiring the basics of caricature drawing to create humorous and personalized portraits of your loved ones — both human and furry! You will develop fundamental skills in observation, exaggeration, and stylization through guided exercises, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice. By the end of the workshop, you will confidently create caricatures of family, friends, and pets for personal enjoyment and sharing.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:
  1. Define what makes a great caricature and how exaggeration works
  2. Analyse facial features and proportions for effective caricature
  3. Use facial expressions and body language to convey character and mood
  4. Experiment with different techniques to create unique caricature styles
  5. Produce and present caricatures for feedback and improvements

A digital certificate will be issued upon successful course completion, which requires a minimum attendance rate of 75%.

Please note that no replacement classes are offered for missed lessons.

Once the course has commenced, no refunds will be issued for any withdrawal requests.

For any enquiries, please contact CLE at Tel: 6512 1388 or email [email protected]
