Eligibility for Convocation
Diploma and Degree students who have successfully completed all requirements of their respective programme of study will receive an email and SMS invitation in mid-August to register for the NAFA Convocation ceremony and to book the academic gown. Please update your personal email address and contact number with the Office of Student Affairs at [email protected] if you have any change in your contact information.
Students who are unsure of their graduation status and eligibility to attend the ceremony, please contact the Office of Student Affairs at [email protected] or call (65) 6512 6132 during office hours from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays (excluding Public Holidays).
Collection of Certificates
The collection period for the graduation documents was from 28 August – 8 September 2023.
Graduates who missed the collection period may still collect their graduation documents from the Office of Student Affairs by 27 October 2023. We are located at NAFA Campus 1, Wing A, Level 2 and we are open from 9am – 5pm, Mondays – Fridays (excluding public holidays).

- We are open from 9.00am – 7.00pm on 28 and 29 September 2023 only

- You may authorise someone else to collect your certificate on your behalf if you are unable to do so personally.
- Please complete and sign the Authorisation Letter and ask your representative to bring along the letter and his/her identification card or passport for proof of identity.
- We wish to stress that NAFA will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to your certificate collected by your proxy.

- If you are currently overseas and want your certificate to be mailed to you, please complete the Certificate Mailing Form.
- Please note that the certificate will be sent via normal postal mail that does not have a tracking number.
- We wish to stress that NAFA will not be held responsible for any delay, loss or damage to your certificate.
- For diploma graduands, please note that NAFA is not able to issue a replacement certificate if you have lost or did not receive your Diploma Certificate.

Registration of Attendance and Rental of Academic Gown
All graduands who are attending the convocation ceremony must register their attendance as well as rent the academic gown from the appointed academic gown management services provider, Serangoon Broadway. (Note: Your registration of attendance for the convocation ceremony will be confirmed if you complete the booking of the academic gown)
Graduands without the academic gown will not be allowed to attend the ceremony.

The rental fee and refundable security deposit are to be made to Serangoon Broadway during the academic gown collection. The preferred mode of payment is cash and NETS.

Important Note:
We regret that you will not be allowed to attend the ceremony if you did not register online to rent the academic gown and confirm your attendance by 6 September 2023.
Guest Invitation
Each graduand will be issued with TWO guest tickets during the academic gown collection at Serangoon Broadway.
We regret that children below the age of 7 will NOT BE ALLOWED to attend the ceremony.
Please be advised that your guests are to be formally dressed for the ceremony. Guests will be ushered for seating in the Lee Foundation Theatre at the following times (admission by tickets only):

Collection of Academic Gown
Please note that all graduands are required to make an appointment online for the academic gown collection no later than 6 September 2023.
Graduands may choose to make an appointment for the academic gown collection immediately after the submission of the academic gown order form OR at any other convenient time by logging into the Serangoon Broadway portal at https://www.serangoonbroadway.com/ with the ceremony code SBNAFA0923.

Please be reminded that you will be issued with your Graduate Admission Card and Guest Admission Tickets when you collect your academic gown from Serangoon Broadway. It is important to bring along the Graduate Admission Card on the day of the convocation in order to participate in the ceremony.

Attire Guidelines for Graduands
As this is a formal occasion, you must be appropriately dressed for your graduation ceremony. Our staff will check your attire before you are allowed to register for the ceremony. If your attire is unacceptable, you will NOT BE ALLOWED to go on stage.
The following are the recommended Dress Code and Hair appearance:

Note: Women generally wear a lightweight dress / blouse and skirt, that is shorter than the graduation attire

The following are examples of UNACCEPTABLE ATTIRE:
General
Casual pants/jeans, T-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, culottes, bermudas, sports shoes, open toe sandals.
Female - Mini-skirts/skirts with exceptionally high slits. Any dress considered provocative or revealing e.g. low cut, bare midriff, transparent top, blouse unbuttoned.
