Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks a visionary Head, International Relations.

The International Relations Office (IRO) fosters partnerships with premier institutions around the world to enhance NAFA’s standing as a leading arts institution enriching lives and communities through education and practice. IRO endeavours to develop meaningful strategic engagements with overseas institutions for interactions and collaborations in education, research and knowledge exchange that will benefit our students, staff and stakeholders.

In this pivotal role, you will be the leader overseeing NAFA’s international relations strategy, shaping and igniting its identity and standing on the global stage.


Roles and Responsibilities

 
The key responsibilities of the incumbent would be to work closely with key stakeholders to identify, develop and maintain appropriate international strategic alliances to promote collaborations for student mobility, staff research and knowledge exchange. In addition, you will manage the development of collaborative agreements, and monitor the progress and implementation of such agreements to ensure their effectiveness and impact on advancing the academy’s global objectives. You will oversee, plan, coordinate and organise students’ outgoing trips to international institutions, and likewise for students’ incoming trips from partner institutions.


Requirements

 

You should minimally possess a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Cultural Studies, Business or a relevant field

A proven track record of success in international relations, partnership development or related fields preferably in the Education or Arts and Cultural Sectors.

A team player with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including academics, educators, artists and cultural leaders is a pre-requisite.
