Roles and Responsibilities
- Design & develop module guides and assessments, project supervision, and provide advice to the various programmes within the School/Faculty to deliver on program outcomes:
- Advertising
- Graphic Communication
- Illustration Design with Animation
- Screen Media
and/or component(s):
- Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD)
- Design Theory and Research Communication
- Transformation and new technologies
- Mentor and teach students, as well as lead and facilitate activities to provide an all-round development for them, which includes providing pastoral care and support, career guidance and supervision in the industry-based learning programme

Develop and/or manage administrative duties and support in the academic management and delivery of assigned modules, including but not limited to:
- Undertaking assigned contact/teaching hours and research
- Designing, preparing, and developing module/teaching materials
- Contributing towards the review of research, curriculum, and academic matters
- Maintaining records relating to students’ progress, performance, and attendance
- Performing administrative duties as expected of an academic staff
- Lead, assist and/or facilitate school activities (i.e., student exchanges, study trips) and contribute to administrative / management tasks (i.e., outreach, student recruitment, internal/external).
- Engage in teaching duties and support for 20-24 hours/week during academic semester
- Establish and maintain links with industry and institutions, to foster a total approach of academic pursuit alongside industry practice
- Engage actively with industry partners and the Academy to embrace continuous learning and stay up to date with current/ new trends in the educational and professional arena
Requirements
- Minimum Master’s degree with relevant certification in relevant area
- Proficient in applications, objectives, and platforms of relevant area
- Minimum 8 year(s) of extensive academic and/or industry experience
- Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage students in their learning
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, to adapt, multi-task and meet deadlines
- A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills
- Strong track record of research/practice, with actual or potential for research output in your chosen field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
