Roles and Responsibilities

 
  • Teach a course in Creative Computing and Coding using the Processing language and integrated development environment (IDE).
  • Design, prepare and develop documents such as lesson plans and assessment descriptors as well as teaching resources/materials.
  • Plan and supervise a variety of activities such as projects, productions, collaborations, etc.
  • Supervise and assess students’ assignments/works/projects
  • Prepare and maintain records relating to students’ progress, performance, and attendance
  • Contribute to the review of the assigned unit(s)/component(s)
  • Mentor and provide academic care and support, including career guidance to students
  • Keep up to date on the development of discipline related teaching practices and learning strategies
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time


Requirements

 
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Creative Computing, or related discipline
  • Experience in digital art, graphic design, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching and relevant working experience
  • Ability to teach online via MS Teams, Zoom, Canvas and/or other relevant applications is preferred
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage adult learners
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
