Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach a course in Creative Computing and Coding using the Processing language and integrated development environment (IDE).
- Design, prepare and develop documents such as lesson plans and assessment descriptors as well as teaching resources/materials.
- Plan and supervise a variety of activities such as projects, productions, collaborations, etc.
- Supervise and assess students’ assignments/works/projects
- Prepare and maintain records relating to students’ progress, performance, and attendance
- Contribute to the review of the assigned unit(s)/component(s)
- Mentor and provide academic care and support, including career guidance to students
- Keep up to date on the development of discipline related teaching practices and learning strategies
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Creative Computing, or related discipline
- Experience in digital art, graphic design, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of teaching and relevant working experience
- Ability to teach online via MS Teams, Zoom, Canvas and/or other relevant applications is preferred
- Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage adult learners
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- A team player with good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
