Chen Qu is a virtuosic Finnish-Chinese classical pianist whose multifaceted contributions span across the fields of music performance, education, and entrepreneurship. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of the Singapore International Music Competition and the Artistic Director of the World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA) Finland. Chen has played a pivotal role in organizing international music events that have benefited hundreds of talented young musicians worldwide, providing them with opportunities to showcase and develop their artistry on an international level.Chen's educational journey includes obtaining a performance diploma from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, as well as her bachelor's and master's degrees in music from the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki. Her major was classical piano performance, and she also pursued minors in piano pedagogy, chamber music, voice, and choral conducting. Beyond her musical achievements, Chen is the visionary founder and CEO of Finnish EdTech music company, Bravori Oy. Bravori is at the forefront of developing innovative digital pedagogical tools, revolutionizing instrumental lessons, and providing enhanced support to both teachers and learners.
