Zhao Yiming

Yiming started to train in Chinese Dance at the tender age of 7.

In 2004, she graduated from Shangdong College of Arts and subsequently obtained a scholarship from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where she graduated with a Diploma in Dance in 2007.

During that period, Yiming also trained and obtained a certificate in Classical Dance from the Beijing Dance Academy and a Teaching Certificate for Chinese Dance Graded Examinations.

A talented dancer and choreographer, Yiming has attained the highest awards at the Singapore Youth Festival (2009–2022) and several large-scale arts festivals, as well as clinching multiple awards for her dance pieces.

Yiming is active in the Chinese Dance arena both locally and regionally and is often invited to exchange programs in the region. In addition, Yiming is also invited as Guest Teacher by dance schools in China and Malaysia.
