Her industry experience was established formerly with The Human Expression (T.H.E) Dance Company as one of the full-time pioneer members. She has performed in all their works from 2008 to January 2015, touring extensively in Asia and Europe. She has worked with renowned choreographers Cheuk Yin Mui and Xing Liang (Hong Kong), Zhang Xiaoxiong (Taiwan), Boi Sakti (Indonesia), Kim Jae Duk (Korea), Dimo Kirilov (Belgium/Netherlands) and Kwik Swee Boon (Singapore).
In 2017, Yarra received The National Arts Council (NAC) Young Artist Award - Singapore's highest award for young art practitioners. Since then, she has worked as a professional freelance dance artist, choreographer, instructor and artistic director. She choreographed works for T.H.E Main Company, T.H.E Second Company and several local universities and colleges, choreographing full-length works for the National University of Singapore (NUS) Arts Festival (2018 and 2022). As an artist/ educator, Ileto has maintained an active presence - co-creating and performing works for M1 Contact Contemporary Dance Festival, M1 Fringe Festival and ArtScience Late, and the Joint Dance Congress in Adelaide, Australia. In the past year, Yarra performed with Anca Frankenhaeuser (Australia) in an intergenerational dance film presented at the BOLD Dance Festival in Canberra, Australia and choreographed for Singapore's Huayi Dance Festival in a film by award-winning film director Royston Tan (Singapore).
