Laura has taught extensively for companies which include the Royal Shakespeare Company, Touchstone Shakespeare Theatre, Polka Theatre, Dundee College and Oxbridge Programs.
She received an Entente Cordiale Scholarship and the Daebliz Award to study at Lecoq. She was also awarded the Percival Steeds Prize from the Royal Conservatoire Scotland.
Laura's acting experience began at the National Youth Theatre, and her professional experience includes work at the Tron Theatre, Arts Theatre in London's West End, Polka Theatre, Southwold Rep, Eye Theatre, and for Rumpus and Dreamthinkspeak.
Her theatre company performed at the Edinburgh Festival and in London where it played to sold-out houses and received excellent reviews:
“This company is slick, fast and talented” by The Scotsman; “Female of the species...is...a sexy physical theatre piece in the style of Frantic Assembly, a bittersweet comedy reminiscent of Anthony Minghella” and “This is engaging stuff” by Time Out.
As casting assistant for one of the UK's top comedy casting directors, Laura has worked with Oscar-nominated directors, Peter Cattaneo and Armando Lannucci among others.
In Singapore, Laura makes theatre with the collective Autopoetics. They performed Provenance at the Drama Centre Black Box in October 2018.
