Fu Yongwei

Yongwei is an Electrical Engineer that practices Professional Audio. Since he received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering with specialisation in Microwave Engineering) from the National University of Singapore, Yongwei has continued researching and developing new technology implementations in Audio-Visual and Microwave systems.

His recent research includes “Professional Audio Antenna Shootout 2020”, where he measures, analyses and evaluates the real-world performance of various popular Professional Audio antennae using self-developed open-source software. The software has since evolved and benefitted manufacturers, students and practitioners in understanding real-world wireless deployments.

Yongwei has also taught at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, LASALLE College of the Arts, and the National University of Singapore, focusing on developing students’ real-world skillset in designing and implementing technologies to solve real-world problems.
