In 2012, Charlene represented NAFA at its first Graduate Fashion Week in London, with her graduate collection showcased alongside the top UK universities.
While reading her degree, she was awarded top prize in a Sustainable Fashion Design Competition organized by Japan Creative Centre within the same year, and won a student exchange programme at the renowned Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, Japan.
With First Class Honours in Fashion and Marketing, Charlene started her merchandising career at MACY’S Merchandising Group. She is now part of the Robinsons women’s wear buying team, with more than over 40 brands under her care since she joined the company in 2014.
Charlene previously co-owned a hand-made accessory line, called Sojourn Singapore. This kicked off immediately after an exquisite showcase at her graduation show, where the pieces received very positive feedback.
