Vanessa Latarche is a renowned piano pedagogue, Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music (RCM) since 2005, and Chair of International Keyboard Studies. Latarche is a Steinway Artist with a notable concert career globally. She is also actively involved in global education, giving masterclasses and serving as Artistic Advisor to the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. She has a rich history as a juror for international competitions and contributes to various musical institutions. As Artistic Director of Hastings International Piano, she chairs the jury for HIPCC and oversees its artistic programme for HIP concerts. Latarche is part of the Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians and serves on the editorial board of Classical Music Magazine. Her extensive contributions include being a Director of the Eileen Rowe Musical Trust, and she has contributed to RCM's publication in 2023, Inside the Conservatoire.
