Infographic Mastery for Educators

(4 sessions X 3 hours)

Educators benefit from infographic skills in several ways, making them powerful tools for both teaching and learning. Infographics can simplify complex information, allowing students to grasp key concepts more readily. It can also encourage students to think critically about the information and motivate them to delve deeper into the topic presented. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on activities, this course will equip learners with a powerful tool to enhance communication, boost understanding, and make learning a more engaging experience for their students.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this module, learners will be able to:
  1. Learn to apply design principles like composition, colour theory, and visual hierarchy to create clear and impactful infographics.
  2. Develop the ability to choose suitable tools based on their needs, skill level, and desired outcomes.
  3. Craft compelling visual narratives using visuals, text, and data strategically to guide the viewer's understanding.
  4. Apply accessibility features and make infographics inclusive for all students.
  5. Integrate infographics into the classroom in various teaching scenarios, from presentations to assignments.
