What a buzzing weekend on campus with the opening of the Singapore Children’s Book Festival 2024, jointly organised by NAFA and the Singapore Book Publishers Association!
Guest of Honour, Minister of State for Home Affairs and Social and Family Development, Sun Xueling graced the opening on 21 June and awarded the prestigious Illustrator of the Year Prize to Chloe Chang, and the Student Illustrator Book Prizes to six budding illustrators from the NAFA School of Design & Media. Over the weekend on 22 and 23 June, parents and kids immersed themselves in creative workshops and activities hosted by local children’s illustrators and authors, alongside a book festival bazaar specially for kids!
The Festival aligns with NAFA’s mission to inspire learning and growth through the arts, providing a platform for artistic expression and interdisciplinary collaborations.
