On 21 March 2023, was honoured to welcome His Excellency János Csák, Minister for Culture and Innovation and his delegation to the NAFA Campuses.
Our esteemed guests were welcomed with a delightful strings performance at the School of Music, in preparation for the upcoming 85th Anniversary Celebration Concert. President Mrs Tan-Soh Wai Lan also shared an overview of the academy’s Southeast Asian focused curriculum, and our partnerships with our distinguished university partners—University of the Arts London and Royal College of Music, London.
Our esteemed guests also visited the Yong Mun Sen in Nanyang exhibition, one of the most iconic Southeast Asian artists of the 20th century and an instrumental figure in the academy’s founding history.
Hungary has a long history of significant contributions to arts, music and literature and the cultural exchange inspires new forms of artistic expression. We look forward to exploring new areas of collaboration and deeper engagement opportunities with all parties.
